Executed under the project management of the municipalities and the MINTP
Several road maintenance contracts are currently active in the Vallée du Ntem department, in the South region. The latter, some of which have been completed and others in progress, ensure the good performance of the axes concerned.
There are currently four road maintenance projects implemented by four municipalities. The envelope of 26,975,185 CFA francs which had been allocated to the commune of Ambam in 2023 made it possible to carry out the rehabilitation work on the section of the Abang-Bethel-Nko'ombe municipal road which extends over a length of 7 km.
The work currently carried out 100% by the company ETS JASON ET DAVY ensures service to the areas crossed by this section. In the commune of Kye-Ossi, a budget of 26,251,065 CFA francs made it possible to carry out the rehabilitation work on the food market road-Cimencam entrance-behind Customs-quarry with a length of 3km. The work 100% executed today was carried out by the company SOGICAM SARL.
The executive of the commune of Ma'an, for its part, directed the envelope of 27,000,000 CFA francs to be allocated to it, for the execution under management by the commune, of rehabilitation works on the section of the Mebem road towards Nkong du PK 32+00 to PK 42+00 over a 10 km stretch, with a current progress level of 70%. In Olamze, the rehabilitation work undertaken by the municipality, for an amount of 26,980,000 CFA francs, made it possible to ensure traffic on the Mbe-Meyo municipal road with a total length of 6 km.
The Ntem Valley Departmental Public Works Delegation also manages two other projects. This concerns in particular the rehabilitation works of the regional earth road RR1016 Akoulzok (Inter N2)-Carrefour Mendjimi-Carrefour Mekomo over a length of 35.2 km and the asphalting works in two-layer surface coating of the Ngoazik-Nsanbang road II with a length of 6 km, with an execution level of 36.04%.
