National 5: work under management on the Bekoko-Pont du Nkam section

Teams from the Ministry of Public Works began work under management on the Bekoko-Pont du Nkam section several days ago, in order to continue the services undertaken with regard to the treatment of degraded areas.

Today, the teams treated the large strips with pozzolan and 0/31.5 as well as filling the potholes in the Kake par Souza village. To improve performance, the current methodological approach consists of reducing the depth of potholes with pozzolan and 0/31.5 before using 4/6 and 6/10 reinforced with bitumen emulsion; a method which also reduces costs and implementation time.
