Most of the discussions revolved around the national situation of litigants and the relations that should exist between the two entities which both work for a true rule of law in our country.
In his welcome remarks, the president was very delighted with this meeting which should have taken place well before but he mentioned it himself, better late than never. As the spearhead of the defense of human rights in our country, the CDHC and the Human Rights Commission of the Bar should have formal links that exist between the two institutions.
After the exchange of pleasantries and the presentation of the different delegations, the discussions continued behind closed doors.

« After two hours of very enriching discussions, we began by presenting the activities that we are already carrying out in the field. We also discussed collaboration with the CDHC. The main lines of our collaboration will be the denunciations that we will make, the protection and promotion of rights on the ground, and referring to the CDHC each time we face any blockage. We have already carried out actions, we can cite the actions taken during International Human Rights Day by going to schools where we distributed the universal declaration of human rights and putting up posters in the classroom. And on International Women's Day, we chose four cities Garoua, Bamenda, Douala and Yaoundé where we spoke about the CDEF to discuss the elimination of all discrimination against women. We also used the Maputo protocol which we distributed, in short we did more in the promotion of human rights».
